Who will benefit from the auction?
Art and Chips is responding to growing concern about mental health in Bewdley and the limited support for people in need. It offers an evening of art actvites plus a glass of wine, a soft drink and chips.
People focus on creative actvities, share insights into their work in a relaxed and empathetc atmosphere. Trialled in autumn last year, sessions were well attended and much enjoyed by people of all ages.
To hold sessions on a monthly basis, funding is needed to hire premises, buy materials and refreshments.
The Severn Valley Railway operates heritage steam and diesel-hauled passenger trains between Kidderminster and Bridgnorth along the scenic Severn Valley. Largely run by volunteers, it relies on
donatons and grants to fund the upkeep and restoraton of its locomotves, carriages and infrastructure.
Ways to bid
Before 5.00pm, Friday 6 September you can
1. Complete the bid form at the St George’s Hall café and place in the box
the amount of your bid, how you intend to pay. Alternatvely
3. Atend the auction on Saturday, 7 September from 5.30pm
Please note that it is important to take the paintngs away at the end of the auction.
