Anne Baker has been a popular volunteer at St. George’s Hall since 2013 and decided to celebrate her 80th year by taking on the world’s fastest zip wire to raise £1,200 for St. George’s Hall, a registered charity. On Friday 10th July, Anne flew at over 100 mph down Europe's longest zip line at Penrhyn Quarry, Snowdonia. You can still donate to Anne's Challenge through the link.

Spanish Wine Tasting Experience

Join us for a wine tasting with a difference. Tom Holt is a winemaker from Shrewsbury who find himself producing wines in Somontano, Northern Spain after a lifetime spent in the wine industry. During the evening you will sample a curated selection of wines from his vineyard "Paso Primero", enjoying crisp whites, fruity rose, and bold reds, amd will learn about Thomas' life at the vineyard, and hear the story behind the unique region and the traditions behind each bottle.
