SGH Venue Management

St George's Hall is managed by SGH Venue Management (SGHVM), a Company established in 2012 to oversee the refurbishment and operation of the building. Limited by Guarantee it is a partnership between three local organisations: Bewdley Development Trust, Bewdley Festival and Bewdley Christian Community Hall who own the freehold of the Hall and are its Trustees.

Bewdley Development Trust and Bewdley Festival have excellent track records in delivering community activities which focus on the economic, environmental, and social sustainability of the Town and local area.

Key initiatives of Bewdley Development Trust have included an extensive three-year market towns programme, events management and the monthly Sunday market in Load Street.

Bewdley Festival runs a successful multi-faceted arts festival held in October each year since 1988 bringing world-class performers and exhibitions to the town. In addition, it plays a part in local life by supporting the annual Regatta, the Spring and Autumn Fairs, Mayor's Sunday etc. With an aim of continuous improvement the Festival has in recent years introduced two new festivals to widen its scope, namely Bewdley Book Week and Bewdley Youth Festival.
