A thoughtful, compelling and entertaining play portraying 60 years of
village life seen through the eyes of one village resident, from youth
to the fight to stay in her home in old age. A thoroughly engaging
performance by an absolutely fantastic new writing company.
actors tell the story of Elsie at age 25, 45, 65 and 85, and her
lifetime battle to stay in the village where she feels she belongs. It's
where her daughters grew up, her husband died and it's where she's
going to stay, come what may.
'Everybody knows someone like Elsie', and this sensitive, honest and intimate show provokes compassion and much discussion.’
